For those of you who use electric fencing to stop your horses straying, over grazing or in the winter to have a paddock left and not a muddy quagmire (not sure if that is a word or not but you know what I mean) This is what you have been waiting for….
As you know horses usually respect electric fencing when they are rug-less but as soon as you put a rung on then the itching, scratching and general chaos starts this is because the rug insulates the horse from the fence so unless the horse touched the fence with a part of his/her body without a rug on he/she will either not get a zap or get a very faint one. Well we have found an amazing product for you and it really works.
How I hear you cry…
Well let me tell you:
The chest and neck areas of the Fence Buster Rug have newly patented design panels built in and is designed to act as a direct channel between the fence and the horse. The Panels bypass all other fabric of the rug so that the current from the fence is instantly transferred to the inside panel where it is felt by the horse. This simply means the horse receives the same effect from touching the fence as they would if the were rug less.
The above picture shows the electric fence panel on the chest, this is made using a standard waterproof fabric similar to the main outer shell of the rug; but with the added benefit of our patented electric fence technology built in. In the second picture you can see the soft inside strap that also has our electric fence technology in, this is where under rugs can be put underneath the fence buster and the inside strap.
So however many rugs your horse needs to have on, you can rest assured the effect from you fence is always 100% and your horse is always lovely and warm AND safe.
Turn out rug:
The outer layer of the chest panel makes contact with the electric fence, the current is then transferred to the inner surface of the inside strap. The inside strap is in contact with the horse at the shoulder (even with an under rig) so the horse feels the zap from the fence.
The Neck Cover:
The entire outer layer of the neck cover will work with electric fencing, it does not matter if the horse puts his head underneath it or leans over the top, the neck cover will work instantly channelling the current through to the inside so the horse can feel the zap.
You can NOT put an under rug under the neck cover.
