Happy New Year to you all!

On our way along the north coast of Scotland - where surprisingly the weather was bright and sunny unlike most of southern UK - we spotted some new fencing.

So simple - one line of high tensile wire threaded through ring insulators to help protect and maintain a new stock fence.  If this line of electric fencing is maintained properly it will greatly increase the life of the stock fence as cattle and horses will not be tempted to rub on the fence posts or push against the top of the fence to get at the sweet grass on the other side.
