Dog Poo Bags!

Keep Britian Tidy!

I read that Kirsty Allsopp has been vocal in her opinions on rubbish - http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2972881/The-great-rubbish-revolt-Readers-reveal-daily-battles-litterbugs-blighting-Britain-defiling-streets.html .

We have some beautiful places to take our dogs for walks.  Beautiful beaches and woodlands.  What I just don't understand is people who leave their dog poo behind in plastic bags.. would you do this in your own garden?  Leslie (in the EFD office) says 'Our public spaces need the same care and attention that our garden does... don't leave your dog poo or dog poo in plastic bags behind!  It is no wonder that dog owners get a bad rap.'

There are bins provided by the council to cater for the amount of dog poo deposited on these walks... so what is worse than leaving your dog's poo near the path it is leaving your dog's poo in a plastic bag near the path... or worse hanging in a tree!  How do these dog owners think that leaving their dog's poo around the walk in a plastic bag is a good idea....??  Do they think there is a dog poo fairly who will come and pick it up??

In more rural areas there are no bins - so take your rubbish home with you!

Remember the old slogan ... Keep Britian Tidy!  Please take your dog poo home or put it in a bin!
