Delivery Times and Couriers

Delivery Information

With all our our products we ship our goods as soon as we possibly can and we pass on shipping/tracking information to our customers as soon as this becomes availalbe. This tracking information will be passed on in email form in most cases. 

 

Electric Fencing and Poultry Products

We use only a recognised courier companies who work to strict contractual schedules and have proven to us that they are reliable. On the whole we use DX, DX Express and Fedex. Fedex will take items under 1m in length and smaller items may arrive by Royal Mail.

Our policy is based on:

  • Standard flat charge of only £10.94 for fencing kits, energisers, posts and similar sized items to UK mainland
  • Small order (sent by Royal Mail) charges are normally £5.50 for single packets of insulators and similar sized single items.  This service may take between 3-7 days and is not tracked or insured. If your product comes up with this service but you require a courier service please get in touch
  • Free delivery is available for electric fencing orders over £300 ex VAT going to UK mainland destinations
  • Please note that deliveries to Northern Ireland and Outer Hebrides may cost more than our flat charge.
  • All our courier deliveries are tracked by our team and are fully insured. Our couriers may request a signature or if specific instructions are given packages may be left in a secure place of your choice.  It may be necessary on occasion to leave a note instructing the courier that it is ok to leave the packages.

We regularly deliver to Outer Hebrides, Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland and mainland Europe. Standard delivery to Northern Ireland is £25, to Republic of Ireland is £35 and to mainland Europe delivery starts at £35 depending on location, size and weight of order.  Please contact us to get a delivery quote for your order if you are in any of these areas as shipping costs may vary from our standard costs.

Petsafe & Sport Dog Products

Again we are selective when it comes to the courier companies we use - these products are sent out DHL or Royal Mail First Class.

Our policy is based on:

  • Standard flat charge of only £10.94 for most items.  Northern Ireland costs £12.00.  The outer isles may cost more - please contact us for a quote.
  • Small order (sent by Royal Mail) charges are normally £5.50.  
  • Free delivery is available for orders over £300 ex VAT going to UK mainland destinations
  • All our courier deliveries are tracked by our team and are fully insured. Our couriers may request a signature or if specific instructions are given packages may be left in a secure place of your choice.  It may be necessary on occasion to leave a note instructing the courier that it is ok to leave the packages.

Poultry Housing

We have two types of poultry housing.  In general poultry housing will be sent out by APC overnight service or other couriers of the supplier's choice.

  • Standard flat charge of only £10.94 for most items to UK mainland.  Northern Ireland and the outer isles may cost more - please contact us for a quote.
  • Free delivery is available for orders over £300 ex VAT going to UK mainland destinations
  • Nestara housing - will be delivered approx 7 working days after the order is placed.
  • Wooden housing - will be delivered approx 10 working days after the order is placed

 

Bird Scaring products

We have two types of bird scaring products.  These products will be sent out directly from our suppliers and have a 2 - 5 day turn around.

  • Standard flat charge of only £10.94 for most items. Northern Ireland and the outer isles may cost more - please contact us for a quote. 
  • Free delivery is available for orders over £300 ex VAT going to UK mainland destinations
  • Scarecrow products will be delivered in a 2-3 day turn around
  • Scare'm products will be delivered in a 2 - 5 day turn around

 

Please note: We understand that it is incredibily frustrating when your package does not arrive on time or when sheduled but please bear in mind that we always do our best to help and support our customers to get their orders.  We reserve the right to terminate any abusive or rude calls with this regard.  Sadly this is happening more and more and we need to protect our staff.

In general, most deliveries, with the exception of poultry housing, take 2-3 working days to UK mainland but please note at busy times of year for example over Easter, Christmas and bank holiday weekends and if the order is to travel outwith the UK mainland delivery may take longer.
