This Anti-Heron Pond and Garden Protection Kit comprises 10 Over Hanging Arms and 3 lines of green polywire which are electrified via a small Energiser powered by 2 x D-Cell batteries.  More Over Hanging Arms and polywire can be added to make a kit suitable for larger ponds or longer fences.  For bespoke kits please contact us.

The basic 30m battery powered kit comes with a battery operated Energiser which runs off 2 torch batteries (2 x 'D' cell) but we also have 12V powered battery energiser or solar powered systems (please email for further information). As some power will be lost if the wire touches vegetation it is important to make sure that the energiser is suitable for the job and that the lines have a clear run by clearing any vegetation that may touch the wire.

Electric fencing pond & garden protection kits are very effective at protecting your pond from the ravages of herons, cats/dogs and other uninvited guests such as mink and stoat.  And also for stopping cats or foxes coming over the top of walls or fences.

Once assembled the system could provide a five line electric fencing barrier.  This kit includes:

·         10 Long Over Hanging Arms with 50 plastic insulators 

·         200m green polywire

·         Energiser (battery)

·         Earth stake

·         Warning sign

·         Instructions and three year warranty on energiser

A pack of 5 Over Hanging Pond or Fence Arms:

• Made of steel 5.5mm diameter powder-coated black in colour
• Length 800mm (80cm)
• Can take up to 9 insulators (please note insulators are not included with the arms - see product code GPI-25) 
  
• For ponds you could use 5 or 6 insulators on these arms to keep out herons; more needed to keep out otters (this kit includes 50 insulators)
  
• 2 x screw fixings (Screws not included)

Standard flat charge of only £10.94 for fencing kits, energisers, posts and similar sized items to UK mainland.

Small orders (sent by Royal Mail) charges are normally £5.50 for single packets of insulators and similar sized single items.
